Becoming a senior is such an exciting time with many new and fun things to look forward to. College acceptance, deciding a major, taking those extra blow off classes, being able to finally chant SENIOR 13 at the football & basketball games, AND taking senior pictures! When deciding who you would like to take you senior pictures it can be a little overwhelming. 721Photography wants to make that decision must less stressful AND create an experience like no other!

The most important thing is that this session is ALL ABOUT YOU, that you feel beautiful/handsome throughout the entire session and that you LOVE the images afterwards.

After you book with 721Photography, you and I will talk over outfit choices and I will help you pick things that not only fit you style but are flattering on you and photograph well. We will then talk location spots- picking a spot that you feel comfortable and goes with your overall session look. We also talk about any other ideas and/or expectations that you have in mind to make your session TOTALLY YOU! After all, no two seniors alike so no two sessions should be just alike. This also means that your images are not going to look just like everyone elses. No set backgrounds I PROMISE!

After we have all of those details worked out, it will be time to get your hair & make-up done! This is something that my seniors love and so do I! One of my favorite moments is seeing the smiles on my seniors faces as they step out of the car with their hair perfect and make-up looking flawless. The confidence is AWESOME!

THEN ITS TIME TO SHINE!!

Claire has been one of my favorites- we hit is off instantly over a iced latte at Starbucks! She has a WONDERFUL personality and I know is going to graduate and hit the real world doing great things!

I absolutely loved getting pictures done by Erin! Getting my make up done really made my pictures feel more special because it was more than my everyday look. It also took a lot of stress off me because I didn’t have to do it myself. She was so fun to work with! She made it feel exciting and fun instead of just something I had to do. She really helped calm my nerves and make me feel comfortable. I’m not the best with fashion, so it was really nice to have her help me out with that! Also, I had no idea what poses to make, so I just let her tell me how to pose and I REALLY liked the way they looked in the pictures. She does a great job of getting a large variety of poses, so if you don’t like one there are tons of others to choose from. She isn’t kidding when she says the shoot is all about you; one of my favorite parts about my pictures was that I felt that they described me. Erin is really sweet and is an awesome photographer, I’m so glad I got to work with her!

721 fashion. Green. May I? – Indiana Photographer.

Green. There is just something about this color that is looks beautiful on EVERYONE! Blonds, brunettes, red-heads- green loves them all, and right now- I am loving it too!! It was my inspiration for this weeks fashion721.

In the first option I went with something a little more casual. A green romper(love those), with a fun braided bracelet and cute sandals. A great outfit for a session in the beautiful open fields!

The second outfit… I going green over!A great pair of skinny jeans, a casual t-shirt and a pop of pink with great earring and a trendy bracelet. Don’t forget the long necklace to dress it up just a bit. This outfit is screaming a senior session in the alley of a super cool downtown! And as for shoes- I love what the model has on but even something a little less dressy would work great too. Remember tall shoes, make for tall legs!

Last but totally not least- a dress. Not just any LBD, but a LBD with a GREEN SASH!! OMG! How fun is that. Dress it up with sparkly shoes, a classy black and gold bracelet and you a set for a date night, graduation or summer wedding!

I had so much fun looking for green outfits this week! There are some AWESOME green purses out there too that I think are screaming my name!

Fashion…oh how I LOVE it. When I book a senior session one of the main things I can’t wait to talk about is fashion!!!!! What to wear, how to wear it and how many choices?? Its one of my favorite parts- not only is it SUPER FUN, but it really can make a difference in a good session and an OVER. THE.TOP session. We all want that over- the top session after all right?!

When I think back to my senior pictures here is what I remember…. a red plaid shirt that was WAY to big, terrible shoes, jeans that were NOT flattering and single stud earnings. UGH! It makes me cringe thinking about it. However, at the time I thought it was pretty stinkin cool.

As I started photographing seniors, I really wanted to help them with the fashion aspect of their day- its kindof a passion(always have to throw in a good rhyme when you can!).

When you choose to book your senior session with 721Photography we will go over EVERY.SINGLE.OUTFIT. to make it perfect for you! We will look at everything from head to toe…literately! We want to make sure you have the perfect shoes, killer necklaces, and awesome necklaces. I encourage you to bring LOTS of options, that way we can choose what will be most flattering on YOU.

Here is an example of how it works- I just recently received this picture text message from Allie- she is a spokesmodel for 721 this year and we were working on her outfit for the mini-session.

As soon as I saw the text- I had this ‘JCREW style’ vision in my head and new it was going to be perfect! She was just missing a few things so I put together these ideas and sent them back her way…

I added the tall shoes, some fun earrings & bracelet and a funky hat. Then I gave her another ‘backup’ idea just for fun! As you can see with both of them, ACCESSORIES ARE A MUST! I couldn’t wait to see what she chose and BOY OH BOY was it ever JCREW style! She looked completely put together, amazingly beautiful and well……. I will let the pictures tell the rest.
